My new SIM card still hasn't activated and only finds Vodafone and EE operating in the area.
Great, when I need O2 (100% signal on other O2 phones around here).

We're using the tried and tested method for messages today. By coach to Stoney Stratford and thence by horse and runner. I recommend string and sealing wax. You can't be too careful.

What is the protocol if the wax is broken?

The full TT Sitting Committe Enquiry. It's like a TT Drink Up but with wigs and capes.

Sounds to me exactly the same as a TT Drink Up then to be honest.

Lots of TT memories from me, including finding my Ultima builder, meeting the TT boss man himself, lots of daft and very funny conversations, some ace support a couple of years back and the funniest bunch of loons this side of a bottle of stag. The stuff i've learned.

Cheers Reeshard, this thread has, in a very real sense, been life changing.

Virtual beers all round.

Hence the wigs and capes. If you see Ro in a top hat, grass skirt and flippers you assume it's not a full enquiry.

hehe

I should really do some work...instead I've been hitting the classifieds and trying my luck with a few cheeky offers.

Last week It was 4x4's. in particular the RRS. This week it's been all about the sensible 335d....I even had the discussion with Chunky about the imminent purchase of something sensible - Like the 335d.

Well that's all gone tits up after a quick nose at 911 prices.

I'm torn between a Delta or an Elise for mine.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Cheap, entry level 911's ARE the definitive mid life crisis car.

I'm all over it, baby.

Soppy stuff now, for me this thread is the very heart of PH. No arguments, no bhing, no one unmans ship, no bullst (or very little). The weirdos last less than a few posts and what we have is a group of great people that are always there and ready to help.

Great work Dicky, this is one corner of the internet that I will never leave, in fact I am hoping that a few of you turn up and have a few stags the day that they finally stick me in a hole in the ground smile

I'll be having a few Stags whether you're in the ground or not.

And I'm not that you're down on the Range Rovers now, Roper. Mine is only the 400bhp version, but the way you can feel just how heavy it is means that the acceleration feels hilarious.

I'm planning to drive to Madrid in it in a couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to it smile
