Soppy stuff now, for me this thread is the very heart of PH. No arguments, no bhing, no one unmans ship, no bullst (or very little). The weirdos last less than a few posts and what we have is a group of great people that are always there and ready to help.

Great work Dicky, this is one corner of the internet that I will never leave, in fact I am hoping that a few of you turn up and have a few stags the day that they finally stick me in a hole in the ground smile
Yeah, between this and just a couple of other threads where similar things apply - with a bit of overlap of individuals too - I'd go with that. This and three other threads are all I visit PH for any more. smile

After 12 years, and at the age of 36 I'd be daft to try and start a new career path in a different industry. That and if I did I'd never attain the level I'm at quickly.

Well done on your new job. I wish you well.

At least you didn't highlight the slight error in the sentence because that would be embarrassing.....Oh! irked

You updated Java, or clicked on 'yes' from a fraudulent pop up from an illegal streaming site?

Anyway. In light of the wedding tomorrow I've just given my shoes a good polish.

Is it just me who finds polishing shoes strangely therapeutic?

Too kind, too kind. We were planning to meet up with you before you shuffled off but clearly there are cost savings in your scheme.

Let us know if you reconsider and plump for the earlier meeting.

Whatever you do, don't let me organise any "pub meet" elements of the proposed jollifications.

The rest of us leave our shoes outside the door of the mess for Battert, the wrinkled retainer, to clean. That's therapeutic and not strange.

Nope.

The heady scent of alternated layers of Kiwi Parade Gloss and Black over quality and well worn supple leather that's buttery to the touch inside the shoe...

It's in the car. If something grim comes on the wireless I play a track. It's

unusual.
