After McWhirter or Chuck?
I'd go for McWhirter as a middle name, so that when he invariably gets his name on a board as treasurer of the local bowls club it reads Heaton, Norris McWhirter.

I was thinking more about girls, tbh. I quite like girls to like my name and couldn't care less what blokes think.

No they aren't, they are boring.

I don't mean anything wacky or out there however there are some lovely names out there and yet people still persist with James or Thomas etc.

If boring means he can get through his schooldays without anyone pointing and laughing that's good.
