Well, the house move went smoothly with just a few showers in the morning and bright sunshine for the rest of the day...

Now I've completed the move this high-pressure is arriving in good time. One of the biggest considerations for the new place was the suitability for BBQing (and garage for the car), with the new place being much improved over the old. I'm going to enjoy every minute of BBQing this summer as a result! biggrin

Had a warm up BBQ on Saturday night without incident, it was more to test the mobile bar we're taking to LeMans, which was good, apart from the pressure being set 4x what it should be on the cider, was a mite gassy.

We've got an entire week of BBQ'ing to look forward to, 'tis the LM24 way (however having ice cold Stella and Aspalls on tap will be a welcome change!)

In case you hadn't noticed - high pressure is now pretty much nailed on for 7-10 days.

Yup, only lasted a short while in the morning here. And I missed those because of the rugby.

Forecast for the weekend seems to suggest that London and S/E will suffer a distinct lack of sunshine certainly compared with today and friday. . . boohoo! frown

Is that right Puggit?

Yep, high pressure due to slip towards Ireland, which means the winds will come from the north. This will bring cloud and cooler air. Still high pressure, just the least favourite type. Warmer in the West and central parts as a result.

27oC in the south tomorrow though - enjoy!

Scattered storms around tonight - there's one heading in to Hampshire from Wiltshire, and another in Glos heading towards Wilts and Berks.

One more in Herefordshire/Shropshire heading towards south of Brum.

And what a bloody storm the Berks one is!!! It's a cracker! Lightening every 5 seconds or so for the last half an hour. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the worst electrical storm I've been in.
