Storms are a certainty - but the stones are just Daily Express hyperbole
Cheers Looking more and more likely that there will be some very severe storms and where the storms turn in to multi cell clusters the hail could cause damage to cars...
Travelling home from Norway today, so I'll update this evening with likely areas to be effected.

Any news? Looking more and more likely that there will be some very severe storms and where the storms turn in to multi cell clusters the hail could cause damage to cars...

I have no form of cover for my car if it happens
Meanwhile....
Growing consensus that high pressure is arriving for next weekend- and likely to stick around. The entire week doesn't look too shabby.

Forecast for the weekend seems to suggest that London and S/E will suffer a distinct lack of sunshine certainly compared with today and friday. . . boohoo!
Is that right Puggit?
Yep, high pressure due to slip towards Ireland, which means the winds will come from the north. This will bring cloud and cooler air. Still high pressure, just the least favourite type. Warmer in the West and central parts as a result. Is that right Puggit?
27oC in the south tomorrow though - enjoy!

Can I have a forecast for Dublin for this weekend, please?

Strange NW/SE split today, with Western and Central Scotland possibly seeing 26/27oC today, while East Anglia in particular suffers at 16oC
Improving for the South as the week ends, with the North going downhill tomorrow to cloud and possible drizzle. No defined end of high pressure in sight, but it stays stubbornly in the Atlantic west of Ireland.
