Hazy sunshine through clouds in Pangbourne, starting to get humid again now though.

Nice and sunny in Haywards Heath this afternoon, the humidity is noticeably lower than it was this morning as well, it was horrible earlier!

Well that was a huge let down got woken at 4am with a rumble of thunder a few lightning strikes and a heavy rain shower nothing much else was happening few more flashes of lightning then all quiet again.
Went back to sleep apart from a few rain showers nothing much other than that.

Still today rather muggy.

It seems that the party has finally come to Sheffield! After a day of just general rain but nothing special, the big claps of thunder and flashes of lightning have started eek

I'm in Sheffield too, this is some storm. It even triggered the alarm on my car which nothing ever has before.

Could see the storm over Wiltshire as I drove along the M4 around Reading irked

Watching a supercell over northern France (Le Havre area) - splitting up. South coasters beware! Looks like one splinter is heading towards Thames Valley. Here's hoping.

All I've seen today is warm sunshine irkedhehe

I thinks it's fair to say that the forecast over-egged it for last night/today, sure there was some thunder and pokey showers, but nothing like what they expected.

The flip side of course is I'm sitting outside in the blazing sun with a margarita cooking bacon burgers and blue cheese mushrooms on the bbq.

GTIR said he was coming but hasn't turned up!

Had a massive thunder storm last night about 8pm then another one for about 4 hours this morning from 4am or so.

But this evening I've just had a BBQ....

Absolutely belting it down in Northampton right now, rain and hail. Was nice and sunny a minute ago!
