Looks like the south could be in for a settled and sunny week!
Yep - warm again with temps up to 30 by end of week.

Today might be fun though - huge super cells over northern France look like they are coming over...

I'm not saying it's been biblical here in Norwich, but we had two flashs so bright I genuinely thought they were explosions, extremely closely followed by deafening bangs (but no rumble at all - must have been too close). Then probably 100 or so smaller flashes and thunder which is still going on now, over an hour later

Back patio area under 4 inches of water, complete with frogs now. Still raining, water pouring uncontrollably off the roof.

It's been brilliant!

Am just looking at www.raintoday.co.uk and the storms are coming up from the South, as well as down from the north - was quite biblical at times!

We had sun earlier but is a bit cloudy now (Brighton), but fairly bright. Just warming the coals up for some bbq chicken and venison burgers.

Well fortunately I got the chicken in and the lid is on as it's just started raining. Hopefully it's stopped by the time the burgers need to go in.

That broke at about 5.30pm with heavy rain and some rumbles of thunder.

Well the shower lasted about 10 minutes followed by half the sky being clear and the other half thunder and lightening. The storm went West and then South. Maybe it will spin around again over the channel. Walked to the end of the garden to watch the storm moving away and one of my cats was asleep under a table. She woke up, stretched, looked around when there was some thunder and went back to sleep. Not much fazes her. Food nearly ready.
