Glorious day in the Island today - crystal blue skies and no wind, topped off with a stunning sunset. (top pic not mine)

It's officially summer - winter tyres came off today. Still some snow around from the big piles of it in winter, but the roads are warm enough any new snow won't settle properly, smile Still some skiing possibilities though! biggrin

I've just been out and the public parts of Box Hill are like a walrus mating ground. There are going to be some very pink people in the office tomorrow!

Some idiot at Clumber Park, decided that the hedge bottom, was the best place for his used disposable BBQ.

Have just ordered a new BBQ. I can only apologise if Summer now ends...

Hot and sunny all day in brighton. Just finished off some brisket burgers, bangers and lamb chops. Sun is getting ready to set over the South downs now.

Much hotter tomorrow in the SE, and then it all breaks down.
Good chance of thunder throughout the week

It can rain all week if it likes just as long as it's clear again for bank holiday, planning a big bbq on Sunday so fingers crossed.

It's well worth it. On a sunny weekend it's mayhem but once you've worked through the crowds and found a nice spot on the beach or outside a pub you can relax and take in the atmosphere. I live up the top of Brighton with a garden that gets sun all day so I can enjoy it in peace but you can't quite beat the craziness on the beach with the music and people watching/perving all day.

At the moment it's looking mild with a good chance of rain. Not awful, not like this weekend...
