Met office blog with rain and wind stats. Clearly Bertha is impacting some areas more than others.

Damn, I've lost a pear now, and the sprouts are looking decidedly ruffled.

Washout today at Santa pod frown those that hadn't already left did so as the 1 o'clock thunder and light show arrived!
one of those intense fronts full of heavy precip looking at the rain radar, now sunny in Wellingborough, typical!

Not been to bad a day in Horsham, had some gusty winds and a few heavy showers but when the sun is out it's nice and warm smile

Car is packed, we are off to my parents for dinner soon and then plan to leave for Newhaven at about 8pm for our ferry to Dieppe. smile

Think I should have packed some warmer clothes as it's a bit chilly compared to temps of late! Crossing was good although we left an hour and a half late due to the weather, but it meant we had extra sleep in our cabin smile it was quite rough but that helped rock me to sleepsmile

I don't think any significant records will be broken, but it looks like there is still some very pleasant weather to come.

Certainly don't fit your winter tyres yet!
