I've had a pair of Oakley ski googles for ten years and been happy with them, but this season I switched to a pair of Zeal goggles (the ones with GPS, wifi, bluetooth for speed, maps, email, SMS and more) and they have Maui Jim lenses, which are polarised and perfect (the Oakleys are not polarised).

never heard of mauijim but the styles look great i actually love lots of them which is unusual for me and sunglasses!
+ like the description!:
If you're out cougar hunting in the hot sun, the Maui Jim Polarized Maui Cat III Sunglasses are a must-have to hide indiscrete glances and protect your eyes from body oil glare. The low-dip and relatively flat brow of the frame may be a classic look, but the Maui Evolution lenses within are anything but traditional. These super-lightweight lenses offer the durability of polycarbonate with incredible clarity usually only noticeable through glass. Both the lenses and nickel/silver alloy hinges fend off corrosion from salt so don't be afraid to spend time viewing the wildlife from the water.
where stocks them in london?
dammit i'll just scratch them

Slight thread hijack - please recommend reliable online retailers. An online search (& Facebook) show loads of sellers - looking more deeply some have only been registered at Companies House for little more than 5 minutes.
I will check out the manufacturers recommended, but in the meantime use my Lidl sports glasses!

I have been using various pairs of oakley frogskins for over 20 years - they are perfect for me the grey lenses render colour in a neutral way and are dark enough to use almost all the time the sun is out, in most activity, plus they are very light.
for 10 years or so that frogskins were not available I tried a variety of other makes, but none really worked for me. I currently have 2 pairs which have just been reglazed - one with polarised and one with standard grey

Is it possible to get Oakley's re-lensed? Got a few pairs over the years, but now need prescription glasses so they're not really much use anymore.
Yes, Oakley will do it for you if you know the prescription. They cant do some prescriptions due to astigmatism, curved lenses and thickness of lenses. Not cheap though.
These have really excellent lenses. Oliver Peoples.

I have two pairs of Maui JIms, one pair of Serengetis, a pair of Oakleys and a pair of Ray Bans. All, except the Ray Bans are polarised. The Maui JIms and Serengetis give a bright, shimmer-free image. The Oakleys give odd shimmers off metallic suirfaces and water.
What colour and finish are your Oakley lenses? Mine are the Iridium blue ones, never noticed any odd shimmers with mine. Only thing that does happen is that some LCD screens (some bank machines and my old HTC phone) look a little "rainbow"-ed but to me it's a small price to pay.My Oakley's!
Batwolf's for wearing with contact lenses:
Prescription polarised,
PHer's and our first world problems and all, contacts or glasses and having the right pair of glasses for the right weather I bought some prescription glasses with transitions lenses so hopefully I'm covered for every eventuality! I love the sun but without sunnies I turn into something that probably looks like a sneezing zombie staggering around whilst my eyes adjust.

I think I have to disagree with you here. I loved my MJ Pilots. But I don't think the were the best glasses I've had. If anything I found them to be a bit more shimery than my black and blue lensed Oakleys. Plus toughened glass always looked weird in them.Great glasses still. Sadly I lost them in Doncaster Wildlife park
Might treat myself to some new Frogskins this summer.
Both Oakley and MJ Customer Service is very good.
