I also have sensitive eyes, in fact the sun makes me sneeze for some reason!
More common than you may think, myself and my son suffer from this, as do a couple of friends;

Actually I have a question for any Ray Ban experts - my wife spotted some that she likes (the Jackie Ohh II frames) and we're trying to find out if you can get them with polarized lenses? The Ray Ban website isn't very clear on this...

I love Spy optics but unfortunatley they don't do dark enough lenses (so perfect for the UK) but I have a problem of always loosing them.

Oakleys I've been buying googles, sunglasses and sports glasses for about 15 years and can't reccomended them enough. The other plus is if you look after them and keep the boxes they hold their value well if you want to sell and get a new pair.

Also I now get all mine from eyewearoutlet they sell online or have a shop in gunwharf portsmouth, and travel to places like Goodwood festival of speed. Not only do I get cheap Oakley glasses, but bags shoes and tshirts. (Just a happy customer by the way)

That's who I got mine from at the Moving Motor Show a few years ago.

I quite like two of their range - Tiger and Ace..

Thinking about it, I've never owned a pair of sunglasses with Polarized lenses. This is why I have always gone for darker lenses. I suppose having polarized lenses is going to mean that even though they're a little lighter, I arent going to suffer?

I think if they have a P in the Product Number they are Polarized - I would email one of the online web sites for clarification, that's how I checked

Not sure about that, mine are polarised but no P in the number. They do have a P by the logo on the lens though. On the website there is a P logo in red.

Randolph Engineering Aviators are the best sunglasses ever made.
+1 I just bought a new (polarized, gold frames) pair of these in the US. My old pair lasted years.

As worn by Don Draper in Mad Men, if that floats your boat.

Best sun glasses I ever had were RayBan Aviators - but with lenses from the 'driving' range. They had lenses that had a special "Chromax" coating which intensified red and green light. Unfortunately I broke them and RayBan have since stopped making lenses with that coating. Gutted.

I have a pair of standard Aviators at the moment - but i'm considering getting another pair with polarised lenses.

OK thanks chaps, I'll look into it. What are your opinions on the polarized lenses then, worth having?

I personally like them - they really do reduce glare. Do a google image search for "polarised lenses" or "polarised filter" to see some examples of the effect they can have.

Currently using a pair of Prada brown lensed ones for driving and they are fantastic, I've always found brown lenses to be the best for reducing glare for driving. I'd avoid polarized as they show stress patterns on windscreens and that distracts me

I have Raybans, RB3025 with green lenses, perfect for driving, had them over a year now and can't fault them.

Are green good for general wearing? I dont really want a pair for the car and a pair for everything else if I can avoid it.

I am looking at getting the Dirty Dog Goose ones.
