Yeah the green is good for everything, the aviator style is great for driving as the lenses provide good coverage
I used to buy cheap glasses and kept breaking/losing them. I decided to buy 'proper' glasses and they've been great, keep them in the case when not in use, they look brand new still

Sorry wwww.hawkersco.com . I think all the lenses are the same UV etc, but just different colours... They are not as good as Oakley lenses, but they are a 1/3 of the price.Had mine nicked yesterday. I knew who'd taken them but couldn't prove it, politely confronted them but they denied it so shrugged my shoulders and walked off. The pub landlord also tried, no joy.
An hour or so later one of them and a 'new' bloke returned with my Ray-Bans, sheepish and apologetic, blaming her friend. Apologies and thanks all round - all good I thought.
Wasn't until later I realised they weren't just grubby - one lens is cracked and both are badly scratched.

Folks,
Any recommendations for good/cheapish prescription Oakleys? Need to get some new sunnies and as I want to wear them for driving they need to have proper lenses!

I've tried a few sunglasses manufacturers and always come back to Oakley - they really are tough to beat. One thing that's often overlooked on a pair of sunglasses is comfort, and I haven't tried a pair of sunglasses that can get near my Oakley Crosshairs for pure comfort. Add in the fantastic build quality and lenses, they're a no brainer as far as I'm concerned. They offer such a wide range of styles now as well, it's easy to find a more discreet pair if Orange lenses aren't your thing.

+1Just came in to post that I've tried loads of different sunglasses but I haven't found any better than my Titainium Crosshairs with Black Iridium Polarised lenses.
So light to wear and the amount of light (and colour definition) you get is exceptional. It's only when people say something like "how can you see, the lenses are like black mirrors?" that you remember just how good the lenses are.
Maui Jim's don't get close for lens quality or even build quality IMHO. Haven't tried plastic frame Oakleys but they make so many metal frame glasses I've never felt the need to.
