Do any mainstream stores stock Serengeti? I've seen a couple of pairs that I like the look of but would like to try them on first and the store I tried from their website hasn't stocked them for a few years...
Pretty sure distance selling regulations allow you c. 7 days to return for any reason. It'll cost postage, but I suspect that'll be cheaper than petrol anyway. Bought mine from amazon.co.uk.

Read through this thread and a few others as I lost my Ray Ban Aviators and was fed up with cheap sunglasses. A pair of Maui Jim 421-02 jas just arrived and they are incredible. Light, best fitting specs I've ever had bar none. The Aviators were very well made but heavy. These seem just as good optically, if not better and you can barely tell you have them on. Incredible. Very pleased. I'd never heard of them either until I read on here.

EDIT: This is where I got mine from - great service and notified of delivery every step of the way.

I loved my Maui Jims when they turned up too. But for me the best reason I have for buying Maui Jim is, when I managed to break them, I posted them to Maui Jims UK head quarters, they fixed them and returned them free of charge within a week. awesome customer service and I certainly be buying another pair at some point.

Another big thumbs up for MJ's as they do sunglasses with reading bits in the bottom of the lens. Means I can read a piste map whilst skiing and a book on the beach.

A bit odd when you first put them on but you soon adapt to just looking down to read something.

Have another pair that I've cut the arms slightly so they fit inside my helmet so I no longer have to flap about trying to read a map or sat nav whilst biking

Who are you? Tiny Temper? You need rolled up trousers and a bow tie with them, oh and a penny farthing of course.

What.....the coolest sunglasses of them all!?I have just had some of them made up as my normal specs, this time with reacting lenses.

Got some Wayfarers as my sunglass option, and they are very dark.

NEVER having polarized lenses again as they make it impossible to look at my mobile phone and read the screen or see anything digital on my dashboard.

Used to have some Oakley wires with a quite light, graduated Amber lens - perfect for driving.

Does anyone do anything similar of good quality at lower/mid-range prices (sub £100?)

I’ve just bought myself some new Ray Ban Wayfarers.
I’ve had a few pairs, I just love them. These have the polarised lenses, which are a god send at this time of the year.
