That is quite lovely...
I would ordinarily agree but for sheer intricacy and delicacy you can't beat the "piano wire" wheels on a Type 59

I've always loved the early Lockheed Electra in bare ally. Is their one still hung from the ceiling in the London Science Museum?

The flush fit handles on the NB looked better. These mk1 handles really do look as though they were designed to prevent the women owners breaking their nails when they opened the door, as the old joke used to go...

Gerald Summers chair, made from a single piece of plywood. In 1934. They used to have one on display in the city art gallery in Manchester, but it wasn't there last time I went.

Those are from a 1972 Ferrari 365 GTC. The Mk1 MX-5 ones are similar though:

Yep, sorry standing in the corner...

TBH I actually think the MX5 ones are better, more of a pure and simple design.

I have an NB and wish it had those chrome ones!

Left-handed guitars always look somehow 'wrong' to me. I guess it's a familiarity thing.

Agreed, beautifully elegant engineering including the combination of the wheel with the brake drum as a single casting.
