I do love the craftsmanship by H&H
Quite beautiful. It seems a shame with shotguns (I shoot) that you're never really around them long enough to enjoy the craftsmanship. You can't ogle them on the peg (might miss a bird), then they're in a sleeve and ultimately in the safe.

Wow! Where did you get that from?
From the Vulcan to the Sky online store.http://www.vulcantotheskystore.co.uk/art-deco-styl...
The later Spit (top pic) also had the bubble canopy and slightly pointier fin, not sure about the wings being different?
There was a clipped wing variant for faster roll response at low level, but in my view completely ruined the aesthetics.
I think both marks I have posted are beautiful.

It Screams "Trying too hard" to me, which is what a gent should never do / wear IMHOEdited by dvs_dave on Monday 23 January 04:10
So is my actual wedding ring. With a brushed finished to match that of my collector watch. Suitably subtle and gentlemanly to placate the snobs on here, that's for sure!
It still like doesn't take away from my opinion that mokune gane jewelry is interesting and nice to look at. Perhaps you should educate yourself a little about the art and craftsmanship involved before casting your aspersions.

Just get them out a bit more regularly to check/oil/clean!It seems a shame with shotguns (I shoot) that you're never really around them long enough to enjoy the craftsmanship. You can't ogle them on the peg (might miss a bird), then they're in a sleeve and ultimately in the safe.

A pair of these and matching car are on my lottery wish list.

Not knowing anything about a chav thing qualifies me for the non-council thread.
A signet ring was at one time the very definition of 'non-chav'. http://www.argos.co.uk/search/signet-ring

Sorry of previously posted. Not mine but wish I had one, a polished meteorite.
Or a polished petrified wood sphere:
Where would somebody purchase one of these objects? I suspect the meteorite is rather price prohibitive though the petrified wood could well be justified via some man maths. Or a polished petrified wood sphere:
