He's removing the egg yolk with ease. Useful if you make meringues. Pointless for everything else because there's nothing wrong with yolks.
What's wrong with an upside down egg cup like my granny used to use?
Dunno. I don't see the problem with just scooping it out with my hand.
biggrin "Life hacks" - hey look I've just invented a round thing! I'll call it the wheel!

Idiot. I've got octagonal wheels on my car and there's no need to improve them.

I need a life hack, if anyone can help smile

First house, bought some curtains with an extendable pole. Curtains rings keep getting caught on the joint between the two poles, anyone got any suggestions to make the curtains slide easier?

OK I've tried it but learn from my mistake, don't apply from a burning candle.

LIFEHACK: Tired of cold butter ruining your morning toast experience? Hold a knife in the toaster while your bread is toasting, and it'll be nice and hot to soften up that creamy butter.

You can see if the batteries in a remote control are working by looking at the transmitter through a camera phone. If it is you'll see the infra red light flash when you press a button

You know when you are contemplating maybe going out for a walk or to do some work outdoors and look through the window to see if it is raining?

Sometimes its that fine rain and you can't be sure if it is raining or not yeah?

Instead of straining the eyesight simply open the front door and step outside! If you begin to get wet then chances are it is still raining. Easy

Does it get hot enough before you get the electric shock?

I think (hope) that his suggestion was in jest.

But if you actually want to do this, a cup of hot water works far better (without blowing any fuses).

Water in a toaster? That's madness.

It should have come with a chamfered collar to avoid this happening.

Get a pole that has the middle actually in the middle. That way one part of the curtains is on the narrower pole, and the other is on the larger, and in the middle it is affixed where no curtain goes over it.
