Get a pole that has the middle actually in the middle. That way one part of the curtains is on the narrower pole, and the other is on the larger, and in the middle it is affixed where no curtain goes over it.
How snarled up can the existing rings possibly be getting??

Buy bigger curtain rings
Buy a thinner pole
Slide the curtains across slower/faster
Keep the curtains open/close
Move house

One (or more) of those will work.

Most of those don't work.

You can't appreciate the magnitude of the annoyance until you've experienced it.

You can see if the batteries in a remote control are working by looking at the transmitter through a camera phone. If it is you'll see the infra red light flash when you press a button
Just tried it and saw nothing. frown
It doesn't work, the ones you can see the light with through the camera, you will also be able to see without the camera.

I actually thought it worked on our Sky remote and showed my brother the light through my phone camera, it wasn't until then that he pointed out that he could also see it without the camera rolleyesgetmecoat

You need to do it in a dark room. I didn't think it would work but it really does. You should see a blueish coloured light quite clearly.

Juat tried it on the remote to my TV rather than Sky box. It works on that. Slight purplish tinge to the colour actually.

If you want to extend the reach of your keyfob remote for your car then touch the fob remote on your head.

Try it - walk so you are out of range to lock/unlock your car (not too far) then touch the remote on your head and press.

You know when you are contemplating maybe going out for a walk or to do some work outdoors and look through the window to see if it is raining?

Sometimes its that fine rain and you can't be sure if it is raining or not yeah?

Instead of straining the eyesight simply open the front door and step outside! If you begin to get wet then chances are it is still raining. Easy
fk that - I might get wet.

Far better to check the rain radar using my phone app, and then work out if:
a) it is raining just now
b) it might rain while I am out

LIFEHACK: Tired of cold butter ruining your morning toast experience? Hold a knife in the toaster while your bread is toasting, and it'll be nice and hot to soften up that creamy butter.
Does it get hot enough before you get the electric shock?
I think (hope) that his suggestion was in jest.

But if you actually want to do this, a cup of hot water works far better (without blowing any fuses).
Water in a toaster? That's madness.
Not as mad as keeping butter in the fridge to begin with...

I've done this and it works. May depend on the phone though.
