Inspired by the 14 years thread, this is my version, what have you done since 2000.
I have, got married, bought two houses, had two children, bought 9 cars, purchased 1 dog, bought 3 computers, 3 tablets, gone through a few phones and had 8 jobs.

Married, changed jobs three times, told academia where they can stick their rotten management and set up on my own, bought my Lotus and seen a lot more of the world than I expected. (and become a lot more badger-like than I expected)

Started a new job in 2000 and another in 2007.

Bought a lot less cars than I used to,7 I think since 2000,still own 3 of them.

Nothing else interesting except I discovered the euro roadtrip in about 2005 and been all over

the shop since.

14 years? Hmmmm, let's see.

Got married, got divorced, bought over 15 cars, bought 4 houses/flats, moved about 10 times (I hate moving), had 4 jobs, 2 dogs. Loads of stuff really, it's mad what can happen in a relatively short amount of time.

I suppose the most important thing though is that as that time has progressed I've also become a lot happier and left my god awful 20's behind me thumbup

Retired from work 4 times; I think I've actually done it now.
Bought 2 cars, acquired a dog, visited about a dozen countries, now about to move for, hopefully, the last time.

In chronological order-

1. Achieved ste A level results
2. Started Uni anyway and managed to get a very good degree
3. Started first 'permanent' job, left after 3 months to return to uni (fully funded MSc with scholarship)
4. Completed MSc, then Started and finished PhD inside 3 years.
5. Secured first job since doctorate, decided the management were tts and...
6. Returned to academia where I've remained for 5 years (3x promotions in 5 years too)

Personal-

1. Dragged GF from Uni with me to the Uni where I did my PhD
2. Married the biatch
3. Had kid

Still yet to buy first property (feel like a loser for this bit). Doing this at the moment though.

I've had 8 cars in that time.

Not a lot to shout about (aside from having children- they are awesome).
