I should imagine it might have something to do with her having a paedo in the house?
While I'm tempted just to tell you to shut up because your previous few posts have revealed you to be an imbecile, I'll reiterate my question. The neighbour has done nothing wrong yet others decided to ostracise her because of something she did not do. How is that right?

not saying hello made her fear for her safety, wow!
No. I asked a question, I didn't make a statement.

Leaving aside all this Daily Mail 'paedo around every corner' nonsense, why exactly did you and your wife decide to stop saying hello to your neighbor who hasn't done anything wrong?
I must say i really would like to see if one of your neighbors was caught having recruited a woman in the United States to sexually abuse a three-year-old girl over a computer webcam while he watched, was found to have a total of 220 child porn images and 120 videos. All the time during the case his mother allowed him to stay in a community with your kids living only meters away, if you would raise a friendly had and say "hi buddy"? Its worth while restating that my only "crime" here is not saying "HI".....

Oh I agree with you what an absolute disgrace that he decided to stop talking to his neighbour! We should hang him.

We never ostracized anyone.
You seem to have a strange understanding of what ostracising someone is, try this definition:

"...informal exclusion from a group through social rejection"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ostracism

Ha ha ha so what!
A carefully composed and erudite response, well done.

Mental note. Ignore the wrinx if I see him walking down the road.
Another quality post; how would you know me walking down a street? Do you have anything vaguely relevant or useful to add to what was once an interesting thread?

wrinx
I'm just amazed that people are genuinely upset because someone on the internet now ignores his neighbour.

Stop going all martyr for a start.

Why are you drip-feeding details? Do you think that people not agreeing with you ostracising your neighbour because of the p-bomb wasn't enough so you're sharing details to shame us into agreeing with you?

You did a stty thing and you want people to support you in it. The stty thing you did was choosing to ostracise your neighbour who you'd previously got on well with because of her son's offences. Stop trying to get people to agree with you, say hello to your neighbour and bloody well support her though what must be a difficult time. Be a decent neighbour.

Definitely this. When the son's released perhaps he could be the entertainment at the kid's birthday party?

Oh, OK. So you're prepared to continue ostracising someone who hasn't done anything wrong. You've also been totally unable to explain why you've decided to ignore her apart from some vague 'but the peeds and won't someone think of the children' excuse.

Pathetic and ridiculous.

And you can stop trying to argue too. You're a fkwit and your post are little more than trolling as there's clearly no coherent thought in there.

You're genuinely upset because a stranger on the web now ignores his neighbour?

Now you're projecting feelings on me which I don't have. Is that a way of belittling me and trying to make me agree with you?

I thought Simon Thingy's behaviour towards his neighbour was stty and I told him so. I wasn't expecting the anti-peed brigade to jump out from behind their bush and try to claim some dude not saying hello to a neighbour going through a difficult time as a victory for child protection.

If I were to belittle you I'd probably call you a fkwit?

Agreed. Now that's sorted can we get back to the interesting thread about odd things neighbours do, that don't involve ignoring the parent of an alleged paedophile or useless trolling please?

Our neighbours are very nice, but one spends about three days cutting their hedge during several attempts at about 10m a time. I've no idea why...no, it's not exciting or even particularity odd but that's it, sorry.

Some top quality bants going on lads but just wanted to say I got up for a slash the other day at 0245, glanced out of my bedroom and saw my neighbour wiping the roof of his Benz with a cloth in his PJs.

I saw one the other day!

My opposite neighbour - well the man who lives there anyway, there's a woman and some children too, did something absolutely baffling.

He went outside without a pair of shoes on and across to the kerb to look up and down the road. Not entirely weird granted but to do so required him to traverse a driveway covered in sharp gravel. The agony on his face was absolutely plain to any observer. He's fairly large too, so the impact of that weight on soft, bare feet must have been excruciating. Then he went inside and shut the door. There was no urgency to his trip at all, he simply left the house, hurt himself and went in again. A normal person would have worn shoes!

They are on the odd side too. We've never spoken on the grounds that on the day of moving in he told the occupiers of the houses either side that his family didn't associate with neighbours and politely asked them never to engage any of them in conversation or whatever. Bizarre as I live in a sociable road we all talk to each other regularly.

I peered out of an upstairs bedroom to see a neighbour standing in his back garden, wearing a wetsuit and smoking a cigarette. Not sure why.
