Four year olds graduating

Personally I have no real problem with this, however I think that it's totally unnecessary for the kids to have to wear special graduating outfits - I'm sure the kids could just as easily wear something smart to school that day rather than the parents having to shell out on something else completely unnecessary. Times aren't exactly all that easy for quite a few.
Do you know I never though about who would pay for the outfits. I suppose if the parents bought them, they may hold some sentimental value and want to keep them. Or they could donate them to the playgroup and they could lend them out in the years to come. They will only get worn once a year. Not just kids. My dog "graduated" from the puppy training course my wife enrolled on.
We got posted a certificate. It was addressed to him.
I wouldn't mind but when he was there he teamed up with this other mutt and the pair of them were easily the worst behaved little bds on the "course"

Sigh.
So what qualifies you to know what four year olds want? Unless of course you are 4 years old?
Your "argument" seems to be as cohesive.
I'm not saying you need qualifications, I'm just saying that 4 year olds like it, their parents like it and therefore it is fine. You getting all cross about it is part-amusing and part-tragic.So what qualifies you to know what four year olds want? Unless of course you are 4 years old?

Still, dry your fallopians and get over yourself, petal, as there are much better things to get irritated about than this

You see, you can make a sensible, rational point when you want to. If you'd said that in the first place....But even then it doesn't last....

If someone states an opinion, as I did in my very first post, as to why they don't like this or don't think it's a good idea don't automatically assume they're angry. I know it's the internet, but not everything is all out war you know.Still, dry your fallopians and get over yourself, petal, as there are much better things to get irritated about than this
And please, stop with the childish, patronising insults. It's not big and it's certainly not clever.
Crkey, this toddler graduation business sounds awful. Completing pre-school is one of the biggest non-achievements going and I cannot understand why some people consider it necessary to reward them for it. The only thing it celebrates is not dying or getting expelled. Is it meant to make the children feel special, or something, because they're not.
