Toilet Rolls....Inside or outside of the holder.

Also is their any scientific or otherwise reason why you choose to roll one way rather than the other?

Ours is stuck on the top of the towel radiator because the cats get if it's on the toilet roll holder and usually destroy it under the bed.

The important thing is, the end of the roll should be over the top, furthest from the wall.
Some deranged ninnies hang it down wall-side which is plain wrong and inconvenient.

I went to someone's house a while back and whilst the paper was hung the 'correct' way, it was - bizarrely - out of reach of the toilet itself. From a seated position, there was no way one could have reached the paper which seemed to be a bit daft.

It's like having a remote control for the TV and leaving it next to the TV. I can't work out why some people do this either.

Over, never under.

I have to swap them round if I go in the loo's at work and someone has left the roll the wrong way round.

I have trouble with mine as it is too big to hang comfortably. wink

(It sits on top of the radiator until it is small enough to fit in the holder thingy).

I prefer under as it is possible to get more speed on the roll.

To be honest - I have never really thought about it - I hang it whichever way I have picked the roll up (where I am currently - its over).

But having cats - hanging it under is potentially cheaper:

The (p - q) part of the formula is the effect of installing extra urinals in a public toilet.

(Take the queue from the pee)
