Nope, its not just you; my PC is a bit of a beast and it is finding it harder to load these pages in less than a minute or two if I've not been on it before. Think its just bigger and bigger sized gifs being used that's slowing the loading process.

Its not the PC, its the internet connection speed limiting the streaming frame rate of the gifs. The pages loads perfectly when i'm connected to the uni internet, but at home it takes a good few minutes.

Plus you never know how well your broadband is really working. Sometimes it can take half a minute, other times less. It also depends on whether the pages is full of gifs or is a combo of gifs/comments.
