I was only jesting, I know exactly what you mean.

I got fed up with online dating awhile back but I'm thinking about trying it again. This time I'm just going to be honest about being a powerfully built director with a goatee and a yacht, at least we can both be disappointed then biggrin

18-50 then. What's the worst that could happen?

At 25 my sisters friend was 48 and I would have ridden her like shergar and I still would now I'm 31 and she's even older!
If I want to go for single mum 40 year olds there's absolutely loads! It's just there's no university/big city nearby so people between 18-35 are generally in demand.

Well, that's that - again frown this one lasted a couple of months as well, but when they say it's over what more can you do!

OKC has never looked so unappealing as well - it's pretty much a sea of obesity, and no matter how many people say "it's what's inside that counts", I can't get excited over fat girls, never have been able to - never will.
Plus it takes a lot of extra work to get to their insides...
Don't get me wrong - I don't mind 'curvy', but there's 'curvy' (14-16 and tall enough to carry it off), and there's 'online-dating curvy' (seems like anyone size 20+ or 5ft^3)

If they can't tell the truth on a profile based on first impressions, then what else are they going to be economical with if you did hit it off?

"I have a job" - I'm on the dole
"Of course I'm clean" - I'm riddled
"I don't have kids" - I've got a football team

Being that relationships are generally based on trust, it's not "A Good Thing" to immediately start off with wholesale misrepresentation!!
You missed out "I'm 45" - Hmm....you've got skin like crepe paper & 5 minute's Googling suggests you are in fact 54!

Somehow my fun and jolly online dating has, in the space of 2 days!!!! Turned into one doing the come back or I'll kill myself routine while the other thinks turning up on my doorstep at 7am is cool......despite bumping into my eldest - whos only a few years younger!

I've decided to join in the madness. Profile is up on Match and I've started to send out random messages out.

The last date I went on was going great until her husband (they were separated) turned up. It all went very wrong from there.

Hm, found an unusual girl. Usually a "few extra kilo" equals absolute fatty, but a girl "liked" my profile has described herself as that and yet looks like this:

|

So, either fitness person (she describes herself as doing crossfit) with skewed perception of herself, or someone who has pulled off the best secret internet fatty pictures of all time. Or, she hit the wrong button, hehe Would be interesting to see, pity she is 1250km away!

Worth a couple of hundred £ and few hours on a plane, surely - it's not even a different continent!

If not, at least it'll make for a good anecdote later.

Can see what happens, been getting a bit bored of being stuck here anyway and wanting to get away for a bit, biggrin I'll be buying a car at some point soon, probably from a bit south of where she is since it's where most people live (and therefore most cars are). Which means I'd pass when heading north. I'll keep you updated on any progress, and so you can report my murder if required.

What's the worst that can happen? It's all just another experience to chalk up, hehe Plus need to see if she (he?) actually replies now, rather than just "liking" my profile, wink Hopefully, if nothing else it would mean a disappointing end to this story if she didn't!

Sadly it will a boring proper 4x4. The MX-5 does fine most of the time for the 6 month winters, but I need something for the deep snow when skiing now. Still, the MX-5 will be the daily and it can be fun to do some offroading. Would love to get the road in the picture below done, but think it's going to be too late in the year:
