It just seemed from your post that you felt disgust at the idea of doing such a thing, and that surprised me. If I got the wrong end of the stick, my apologies!
Why couldn't an evening spent with a prostitute be a lovely evening? I'm sure many of them are very charming, it's their job after all. Well, the sort that you would spend a whole evening with anyway, your point is valid if you're just going for an hour or something. If you did only go for an hour though, why would you even mention it to your daughter?
I see what you're getting at, I just thought it was a bit unfair that it got a reaction such as it did. It's not for you and that's ok, but there's no need to be disparaging about it.

Meh, sex is just sex. Making love and a good shag are very different things. No different to picking a girl up in a bar or having a one night stand. And if the choices are having a w
k, not doing anything at all, and paying some prostitute I'll pump for the latter any time at all. If its not for you, its not for you, but to 'shudder' or be disgusted at the thought is a bit odd. I'm avoiding any sort of moral judgement here, but many escorts are far from the 20-something year old pneumatic enthusiastic Eastern European at a grand-plus per night. Many will be 30s, 40s, or more, single women who do that sort of work for all sorts of reasons.
If one were to be sexually active irregularly, or even just lonely, a couple of hundred quid could be a very good investment, and needn't be too shuddery!

A guy that works for me "loves a brass" as he says and regularly goes after work/on his lunch break to a nearby girl he found on adult work. I've tried long distance once and it didn't work, I try to stick to no more the 45mins away now.

Someone I know (not me) was dumped by his wife of 18 years as she was shagging her boss & wanted 'space'.

It was me that did all the driving, 400 miles a week just to see her, plus extra if we went anywhere. I also drive for a living and pretty sick of it if I'm honest.
