Sounds like you were trying pretty hard to me!

What's happened to Tinder?

I haven't used it in about 5 months, and decide to fire it up last night. More so out of boredom (I find it fascinating flicking through and reading profiles), but with some hope that you never know who might pop up!

Obviously that approach meant actually checking pictures, not just furiously swiping right. I'm not THAT picky but I've barely found anyone that I would class as attractive, and I've already started having people repeated back round. I live in London and it's on a 15 mile radius..
I'm in London at the mo for a week and Happn seems to be overrun with v hot women, tinder less so. Also note Bumble is picking up a lot in the smoke but less so around the UK.

Lol, it sounds worse than it is I guess. I didn't go to much effort - not dressed smart, not posing, no fancy filters..

I was literally sat at my computer and the dog jumped on my lap, so took a few funny shots on the webcam cause the dog looked bewildered - ended up sticking one on Facebook profile and just used that for Tinder too. It looks like more of a 'captured a moment' photo rather than a 'rehearsed 50th try' one.

And girls love the puppy wink

Women and puppies is like kids and candy.

Just that one is (questionably) legal.

Well she's now met my parents and siblings other than one and I saw her ex husband and her sons dad and his new partner.

It wasn't too bad, shock his hand and was pleasant.

I may have made a mistake though. I agreed to put some photos up for her, which I did. She now thinks I'm good at DIY. I'm embarrassed to say in 26 years it's the first time I've ever done that, today I used a drill for the first time and put a mirror and a clock up.

Hoping she doesn't expect much more complicated stuff!

Ki3r, how long have you known this girl?

Edit: I just ask as you said you had stayed around at hers for the first time last week, don't you think it's all a bit much, a bit soon? Maybe it's just how you do things but I generally am not fussed about meeting any family or friends until I've known a girl a number of months and at that point it's more a case of just ending up running into them as opposed to specifically meeting them, if you get what I mean?

Kia's love life is slightly less tragic than Chemical Chaos' by virtue of the fact he can get his leg over, but it'll all end in tears and lots of whiney posts on here about how he was totally in love and then she turned round and fked off. Probably because she was claustrophobic, and found so live-fast, die-young biker to whisk her off into the distance.

I hope it does work, but if you've only fked her once and yet have met her ex husband and most of her extended family I fear this could be some painful dead end.

Known her since August, maybe a little quick but it feels right.

You don't have to worry about me making the same mistakes as last time. (Although I'm sure you aren't lol). I met someone last year who was showing similar signs to my ex (possibly worse) and quickly ran away. Know all the signs to look out for!

Meeting her ex husband was more of a chance thing, her son had spent the day with him and needed picking up, her car isn't available at the moment.

I'm pleased how it's going smile.

On behalf of PH you need to go and tinder in the areas where some of the people on this thread live so you can give us the actual stories about PHers.
I would absolutely love some of the women mentioned here to post their side of the stories.
I had a date this week with one. It was a bloody good laugh. I think. I got a bit drunk, probably embarrassed him stealing stuff from a bar.

You guys just need to relax more. But then I am good company wink

Good for him! Not everyone has to post every intimate detail of their relationships online for your titillation.

it's quite clear that it was asked not for "titillation" but to give the guy advice on whether he should really be made to run around doing odd jobs or whether he's being used. Or are people posting things on the Internet to not get advice now too?

Had my first ever tinder date on Sat night. Went really well and was a good laugh. Text each other a bit on Sunday lunchtime and now heard nothing since and she has now disappeared off my tinder...

Bit confusing but I guess I've been binned off!

So what you're saying is that he should only be doing a few odd jobs for her if he's getting sex in return? Not everyone is as cynical as you clearly are.

Exactly. I mean, have you ever watched a 'prono' whereby a huge bodybuilder with handlebar moustache loudly proclaims, "I've come to fix your plumbling", in a thick Austrian accent; only for him to then proceed by showing you how to safely remove a u-bend, as well as lax lyrical over the virtues of pushfit pipe fittings?
