I can do one better. My sister actually came up, while she was sat next to me.
You should've swiped Like, then sat there staring at her while she checked her phone notification laugh
If she got a notification, it would mean she swiped 'Like' first.

Do you live in Norfolk?
No. But I did hope Tinder might of baked in some technology to avoid this. Maybe I downloaded the redneck verison.

My Step sister came up On tinder, i was not impressed. I'm the over protective brother type. There's all sorts of sickos out there..look at you lot laugh

Amyway, things are going quite well with the girl i met on tinder a few weeks ago. Met up 7 or 8 times and she is coming over to cook me dinner at my place tonight.

Step sisters are fair game surely? Less questionable than cousins certainly.

Nice work, glad to hear your getting dinner cooked rather than putting up shelves for her. Dating done right hehe

Not if you super liked her, then the person gets a notification regardless of whether they have liked you or not.

They are like buses.

Just had a text from "Cheryl" apologizing for not getting back sooner and asking how my sky diving is going confused

Scoured my dating profiles to no avail. Whacked her number into Facebook (you can search for a profiles using by phone #) and up comes the picture of a cute Asian looking girl. No spark of recognition, NONE.

Now given that I have a "hi" stored my my phone from a month ago from her I'm assuming I must of met her out and about.

She's suggesting a drink in Nov.

This will make for an interesting date.

Edited to update.

We are now going to Lewis Fireworks together. Question is do are ask her how the hell we met now, on the date or just try and blag it?

CountZero23 - please PM me a screen shot or two from your Tinder profile. I'm curious.

Have you considered that she might have been given a fake number by someone else or taken down the digits wrong? I often change the last digit of my number if I dont want to be rude at the time.

Could be awkward when you're not who she's expecting.

Would be a bit of a co-incidence if the wrong number was given by another sky diver called Steve who lived in Brighton. You never know though eh?

I would say blag it.

She will be like "do you remember" and just be like "yeahhhh but it was a long time ago".

tinder seems to go in fits and spurts for me, nothing for a couple of weeks then a few matches over the course of a weekend. It nearly worked wonders when I was in Madrid last week though, if only!

Reset?

Go 'app settings' and you can delete the account.

Or if its just being st, sometimes logging out and logging back in can force it to refresh messages and the like. I think otherwise it just relies on cache data which sometimes doesnt get updated like it should.

I deleted it before but it does seem to 'remember' the matches against your profile still.

Given I 'completed' Tinder a few months ago I only get matches from new members.

Current profile is a bit jeans and t shirt / clubby.

When I can be arsed I'll create a new facebook account, change up the humour, get some shots of me in suit and shoes and run through it all again this time picking off the nice girls as apposed the the party heads I've been having fun with for the last year.

It's all just marketing and understanding your demographic hehe

You can fully delete your profile and matches and start again, somewhere in the settings of the app.

I need some help been single for a long time, maybe 8 years I think, lost track.

So what are the best tactics to snare a goodun, I don't have very many photos to use, should I get some Vaseline coated ones done or a few in the pub , all I seem to attract is women with 3 kids and 1 on the way currently.

I have lowered my standards, I know I am not going to get a good-un, but I don't want to scrap the barrel, well not just yet.

I work nights so pretty hard to meet new people, not a fan of clubs any good tips.
