Bingo.

Initially we were both happy eating healthily during the week, along with both of us having extensive fitness commitments (gym/football/rowing etc), but at the weekends we kicked back and enjoyed ourselves- whether that was going out with friends or enjoying a takeaway and a couple of drinks. It was the best of both worlds.

Gradually however, she got obsessed with chasing more & more progress which meant cutting out all the weekend relaxed eating/drink etc, to the point where she was living for fitness only. Something I could never do.

Online dating is sooooooo visual....you have two options. Set the bar low - accept it will be very quiet until someone your equal comes along. You simply make a call - adopt the shape most humans are supposed to be or put up with a hard time online dating (and there's no reason why you cant be chubby, etc, etc - You just can't be chubby and wonder why your inbox is empty....anymore than I can be ripped and wonder why I was at the movies last night with sore legs from my deadlifts and eating crappy tasting protein flapjacks instead of popcorn!

PS - at 36/37 was almost 23 stone of blubber so I know what it's like......I also know I didnt get many 26 year olds wanting sex twice a day and my wife was on the verge of leaving my fat arse!

But is your girlfriend as pleased with yourself as you are?

Surprise surprise - when your head is less covered in fat you will look vastly different and the things that make someone "attractive" emerge - things like bone structure as opposed to swollen balloon structure.

Tigsy I don't want to come across rude or have you take this the wrong way.
I'm sure you are a lovely guy in real life

but you have a air of arrogance around you which tends to come with people who go to the gym all the time and drink protein shakes. just because you are fit and have a girlfriend half your age doesn't make you the best guy in the world ;-)

To be fair, he does mention he was a whopping 23 stone in his mid thirties, so maybe he's trying to point out that anyone can change and improve their chances?

However he does neglect to mention he is also minted, and you have to wonder how much of the appeal is due to that when dating girls closer to your daughters age?

The other thing worth noting is a great bod does not equate to a great time in the sack - but anyone with any experience will tell you that. Not averse to anything from very slim to curvy but BBW I associate with "unhealthily big" so not my thing at all.

Then again there are some BBW who I'd definitely throw a sausage.

Probably against some cardinal rule of blokes but now i'm actually in a relationship i can see lasting a long time sex doesn't really concern me that much anymore lol.

For a time in my early 20's I was using a lot of anabolic steroids, test, tren, deca, mast you name it I used it in ridiculous doses. I got big and lean. As in it was pretty obvious that my physique was not natural. I was 110kg then and had some form of abs, not ripper but decent. I'm not just under 90kg and chubbier - but I find it easier to get women to sleep with me. So the whole muscle argument doesn't wash with me.
