Whilst others point out it's a numbers game also be picky yourself and then take the extra time to read their profile and mention something that they've said in your shortish msg to them. A friend from work has recently started on POF... i wasnt sure why, as following her last breakup i would have expected her to have a long line of guys chasing her.. but anyway, proof there is at least one attractive, sane, successful woman on there...
plus she has some great stories from it, the most recent about a guy she had the first date with, that announced he actually had a girlfriend, but because he liked her so much, wanted to start seeing her, but had a holiday booked with the current one, so will dump her in January afterwards... and then seemed confused why this wasn't an appealing offer...
