Just as an aside to the arguing that's been going on,
I've been on tinder for a couple of weeks now..
It's been a great distraction from the ex and it's nice to find that there are some seemingly really genuine and decent people out there. There's also some total sleaze and filth but that's to be expected.
The girl I had the date with I mentioned before (the one who didn't look like her pictures!) sent me a text the other night asking to know where she stands because she would like to see me again. After a bit of a chat and perhaps an excuse or two, it seems I've hopefully at least gained a friend. She was really nice to spend time with to be fair. Guess tinder can be good for friendships as well as just dating/shagging!
The one thing I'm struggling a bit with is finding people my sort of age that are actually living fully fledged adult lives and not just working part time and living in their parents back bedroom/at uni etc. Trying to go for someone different to my ex I guess. Someone a bit older perhaps 30 odd would probably suit me better but unfortunately I probably don't appeal too much to older women

Oh right, doesn't seem that way to me to be fair. A lot of people wanting drinks, chat and maybe more not just a hook up in my local area it seems! Obviously it's more casual than the likes of match.com or whatever which is fine for me personally, don't want to get too involved with anyone just yet. if not its better than moping around the house! I still do enjoy the old fashioned way of meeting people, but it's convenient to arrange a date or whatever on your phone sat at your desk or whatever than it is to go out on the town every Friday and Saturday night chatting girls up

So what is the normal protocol on POF as I'm doing something wrong lol. They click my profile then I get a *** wants to meet you. Then nowt, so perhaps a day later I send a wee jovial message to break the ice and again nowt. Do men want you to make the first move or is that a myth now.
