I have quite a talent when it comes to attracting women, they all seem to be 9/10 out of 10 on the crazy scale.

That's one i will definitely not be going anywhere near again, it was my boot that time, could quite easily have been a hammer/knife the next. Scary thought.

I feel better for airing it as I have kept it in all night and hardly slept
All the best
What's the breakup situation? Separate houses already?
Block her/delete Facebook don't need any of that st stressing you out

I have been hit by a woman years ago when she was drunk and unstable - most guys brush it off but it's a pretty fkd up situation as you can only try and defend yourself or hold them still / run!
Cheers.

Thankfully I have my own flat, something that she wanted me to sell so we could buy together, fortunately I made that mistake with my sons mother some 5 years ago and it's a mistake I won't make again. Once bitten twice shy

She blocked me on FB last night before all of this really kicked off so it will stay that way and I'll move on, truth be told I will be happier on my own as I can do my own thing without any drama.

My ex of 9 years hit me once when we first started dating, she was young and vulnerable and it was a mistake that never happened again in all the time we were together. Never foreseen last night if I'm honest

Newly single again as of 12 hours ago.

I've been seeing a girl on/off for the past two years and it was most definitely on this time, with serious future talks, kids, house etc, I felt that things had taken a massive step forward and for once I was happy.

She became ill on Thursday, I was working away and couldn't get home until Friday night, sent her some flowers on Friday to cheer her up a little and came home Friday night to a massive argument based on me "not making enough effort"

Cue yesterday, up early as I had loads to do, made sure she was ok and left. Few texts during the day, gets a call around 5 to see what time I'll be home, my answer of 6.30 latest is met with dogs abuse about how I don't care she's ill blah blah.
I eventually rock up after 8 to give her time to calm down, take off my work boots, and it appears she's far from calm.
Flys into a rage, punches thrown at me, one of my boots used as a hammer to the head, and she then has the ordacity to claim she's going to call the police and have me arrested for attacking her.

Needless to say, I grabbed my boots, keys and left sharpish.

She text later, more abuse and not even a hint of an apology.
was this the first time she's exhibited signs of this type of st?

Since last month perhaps. Never trust anything that bleeds for five days and doesn't die.

Terrible tale Martin. Bet youre glad to be out.

At least you know now rather than another yr down the line and you have joint house and maybe a kid.

I can't help wondering if the illness was worse than you had realised, Martin. Of course, whatever it is, there's no excuse for the violence. What a shock, when you were so close to moving things on a bit.

Yes, of course, I'm just thinking that if she thought he wasn't being supportive enough, maybe it was more serious and she was expecting a bigger, or more immediate/serious reaction from him, than she got.

You must have led a sheltered life, that 'joke' (in the loosest sense of the word, obviously) is older than the hills.

Maybe it's just funnier when a woman says it.

I knew there'd be a PC sourpuss on here who'd respond to my post.

Explain to a dating virgin (last time was so long ago I may as well be) what the protocol is for letting down gently?

Went on date today, lovely girl but photos were... 'misleading'. Not typically very vain but there's not so much as a stirring downstairs. No-go. She has since Whatsapped me and I've not the first clue what to say.

"Sorry - had enjoyed meeting you, but I don't think the spark was there - good luck!"

Sent similar and had similar sent to me when I was internet dating.
