I've put me on my race bike as one of the pics
Why? Women couldn't be less interested in that sort of thing, unless of course it's not them whom you're trying to attract? Plus I know how to attract guys, it's much easier!

Nonsense, plenty of women enjoy going on the back of a motorbike.Pebbles167 said:

Make your profile reflect you, you might not get as many matches but you're more likely to attract someone you have things in common with...
True dat. But if you're a boring sod, at least try and make it seem otherwise Pebbles167 said:
Key point, me on my race bike. Shows I do actually go out and do stuff and dont hide inside If it was just the bike then maybe that's a bit odd. Still, a lot of my ex girlfriends were petrol heads to some degree. A few even had pics of their cars on tinder.
Plus I know how to attract guys, it's much easier!
It also shows that weekends will be spent hanging around some st-hole of a race track with awful bogs in the arse end of nowhere... not many women want to be hanging around the unsheltered pit lane at Pembrey with the wind and rain lashing in watching you play with your tools.Plus I know how to attract guys, it's much easier!

We edited his profile to mention the fact he was into motors & that was it, result lots more interest. One thing mentioning interests, its another to show it already taking precedence over some prospective lass. Whats her incentive to give it go.

So how do you all manage the photo bit? Pictures of me are either of me racing my bike or with the kids (and the ex)! Do I need to learn the black art of the selfie?
Do you take a good picture?I take an awful picture...My camera smile looks stupid and uncomfortable..or I look pissed. On the plus side I do get the 'Oooh, you're much nicer in real life' comments.
I'd sooner kick my own balls than pose for a 'nice' photo. Not a fan of it.
My girlfriend excepts that I can't to do it but tries regardless.

Little update then On piece of fish, I've messaged the apple of my eye four times now. In the final one, I asked her out (as advised on here), promising that if it's a no, I'll cease bothering her if she lets me know.
Does no response = no news is good news? Or have I been blocked? Who knows.
Meanwhile, I'm heading for 650 views on snatch dot com. No others are leaping off the screen at me as yet.
Still, it's quite a hoot reading 'twixt the lines on profiles.
the irony is, if you're getting so many views and no messages then maybe the women are reading between the lines on your profile too?Does no response = no news is good news? Or have I been blocked? Who knows.

True dat. But if you're a boring sod, at least try and make it seem otherwise ETA This is so gay. I like the idea of the dirty garage.

some tips:
- by all means illustrate your hobbies and interests on your profile, but you absolutely need to think about how this will be interpreted. If you're a MAMIL then a significant portion of women are going to think "oh, he'll be off on ride-outs every saturday and sunday, we won't be able to go out on friday nights because he'll be up early... he's probably a macro or paleo diet bore so we'll be on boiled chicken and raw veg... helmet cam road warrior... pfft... next". It doesn't matter whether any of that is accurate or not! This is your dating CV. Don't narrow your market unless you want to! Does it really matter if you find an awesome girl who doesn't like cycling? Are you insistent on finding a girl who is as into cycling as you are, and wants to come cycling with you? You are far more likely to find a person who is not into the same hobbies... how important is it really? This isn't just a cycling thing; it's any hobby or interest.
- For fk's sake don't embark on days and weeks of messaging before even suggesting a date. Handful of messages - then meet up. Surely the only point of Internet dating is to get a meeting in person. The Internet bit is not the endgame unless you are just a time-waster. If you keep on messaging, you'll just be friendzoned or give yourself enough rope to hang yourself with. No wonder these women 'mysteriously' disappear. Be bold, take the initiative, get it in the diary.
