Sounds like you need to ask her outright if she wants to try a more serious relationship, after a month of "dates" I would expect to either be dating exclusively or not at all.

Know the feeling well but its a cowardly way out IMO. I found myself in a similar situation a few months ago and faced the same temptation. The well-trodden single life of lots of fun, lots of random nights and control over my welfare with protection from any potential hurt. Ultimately its a safe path but have to take a risk now and again if I were to ever want to settle down. Not sure I do want to settle down quite yet but hey, when these ones come along I'd be foolish to dispel the concept.

And me. Definitely this.

For once, I find myself in complete agreement with Gretchen, on both posts above.

Positive stuff.

I'll take it steady and have a bit of a chat around valentines day or something and see what happens. Might go down well, if not I'll just go to the pub!

Thanks wink

Yeah it was just a drink with a couple of girls I'd been chatting to. Not sure if I'd have let it go anywhere anyway.

That said i thnk she's probably still dating others. At least I've seen her online on POF. I wouldn't have a problem if she was, we're not going out of course, but for once i actually have feelings for someone, and it actually scares me a bit not knowing if she sees me as just a fun date or a potential partner.

The temptation to bail and stick to what i know is surprisingly strong.
Maybe she was online POF to check if you were online and fishing!

It's possible, but I guess it doesn't really matter. I think the way everything tends to go with Internet dating people tend to at least keep their options open and keep a few chats going!

If they are using the POF app there is/was a problem where even if you logged out it will always show as being 'online' (unless no internet service) only way to sort this is to delete the app, unless they have sorted the problem?

i think most people, until they jointly decide to be in a relationship and 'exclusive', will probably either still be dating other people or on the lookout. It's a fact of life; to think otherwise is naive.

Certainly been the way I've always done it in the past.

I don't think it's bad, a lot of people I've met online exited the picture rather suddenly, I was glad I at least had an account and was sort of talking to people.

Well this is awkward. I've had two girls this morning message me on the dating site, even though we've already been talking on WhatsApp. Girls must text so many boys they don't even know who they're talking to.

laugh

I've not heard that one before. Obviously you've got it in the looks department if they are messaging you, maybe try to stand out a little more in chat? Up your sweet talking game.

The crazy mare said I was lying, she's been with her boyfriend for two years. That may be the case but I've got pictures of you walking your cat with a harness on, and pictures of you in the bath naked wink
