To be fair, I would probably be like that too, tense and nervous. I think for me it's a bit of social anxiety, or quite simply, shyness, which is no doubt the same thing these days

I did consider that but he comes across as an extrovert, what with all the attention seeking and such.

He refers to himself as the Cheshire cowboy (iconic gay figure) and subconsciously or maybe consciously makes a real effort to repel women and makes a show of getting angry at them for not desiring him (covering behaviour) while dressing in a series of homoerotic fantasies - pilot / racing driver / train driver / fast show Ralph..

Then that photo shows him in a situation where the majority of straight blokes would be looking like the Fonz whilst he's looking like the majority of straight blokes would if the girls in that photo were swapped for lads.

I'm not trolling here, I really do think there's a revelation involving booze, a steam engine club buddy and poppers in this young man's near future.
