Jumped from shifts that can end at 11 to day work building drums. Fast food to bespoke drum building is a slight change

Just got home after working on a pain in the arse LV mains fault. No more work for tonight I said to dispatch when I was leaving site, my backs in pieces. Five minutes before I get home, I get a phone call, asking if I can go out of area to another mains fault Not happening, right now I want a beer and bed!

Last Thursday / Friday turned into being awake for 40hrs straight. Normal working day on Thursday, flight (Jeddah-Bahrain) left at 4am Friday morning rather than 21:30 on Thursday, all day Friday helping run Bahrain Superbike Championship.

Had to be back at Bahrain airport at 8am Saturday morning to fly back to Jeddah, which left 2 hours late...

I just hope Emirates don't do the same this Thursday night as I have entered the local Tough Mudder on Friday and sleep will be needed before hand.
