Went racing my bike yesterday, then came in for my twelve hour shift. Been asleep since one, now for a quick cup of tea, then out to do a bit for when the day shift get here. Still tired.

Currently under the duvet watching Bridge On The River Kwai.

Got cold and had a little doze, then noticed a couple of issues so dealt with them.

Very tired and feel hungry sick too. Awaiting the call from my relief in around 30 mins.

2nd and last night for me. Then off til next Monday night. Lovely.

Reading and snatching the odd nap. Two more after tonight, then four off, so it's a four day weekend for me.

Do any of us actually work all night? Mine is more of a monitoring role, and dealing with the odd call out if something stops working. Easy money, but boring.

Exactly this.

Keep an eye on things. Act accordingly if something falls over. Watch TV, eat, try and sleep a bit. Generally.

Unless it's busy. Which usually occurs when you've had fk all sleep, naturally.

I'm giving up for the night on my Java assignment, java coding at 4:30 am is just a recipe for disaster after looking at it since about 4pm.

First time here in a while ... pulling a nightshift to oversee some IT changes. Nothing happening for a while so browsing Ebay for turntables with a cup of coffee and a Kit Kat Chunky

18 minutes until I can go home and sleep...

And back in at 12 tomorrrow.

So far tonight I've done about 2 hours of work and 6 hours of watching videos on YouTube.

Easy money... But I want a new job!
