My friend's latest project. 1971 Beetle, we needed to move it after it was brought back on transporter with lack of steering wheel.

It won't be permenent. But out of curiosity anyone know if that would pass for a steering wheel on an MOT?

Straight through a 1/2" pipe containing water that was, unusually, white hot.

Three fifteen it happened. That left forty five minutes to stem the flow, unearth the stop cock, drain the systems, assess what was required and get to B&Q avec le money plastique before it closed.

What a complete and utter plonker.

So many wet and grimy towels. So few likely to be used again.
