Oh FFS... a 40 foot Broads cruiser to antifoul and the chandlery only had two tins of blue left, I used both and ran out before I could do the P bracket, skeg, rudder and bottom of the keel.

It's good to be back at work biggrin

Browsing eBay for a Mk.2 Golf. Doesn't have to be a GTI, though a 3-dr would be nice.

I have no spare cash, no room and no use for one. Ideal time to buy then...

Any faces not readily visible from the surface will be daubed using whatever harlequin dregs are in 'the bucket' that is kept for this purpose, or do southern softy boatyards not do this? wink

A very pleasant couple of hours in the afternoon sun down on the nearby nature reserve/bird sanctuary has resulted in a bucket of blackberries on the kitchen side. 4½ pounds of squishy goodness ready to be bubbled into jam.

It's International Interspeed 2 (Blue) we ran out of, so asked my foreman if I could do the last bits in International Micron (Blue)... yikesnono ... Okay, I then told him the hull/GRP is all painted (apart from the bottom face of the keel) it's the metal bit's that need doing (Skeg, P bracket and rudder) so what about some nice hard wearing black Trilux? it'll look good two tone... nope not allowed either rolleyes

bleedin' hell grumpy the only time the owner will ever see these bits is if he fell in and had to look straight up... at which point the colour of the keel would be the least of his worries hehe

I think someone was going to jump in the van, drive down the road and get some from Pirates Cave... 15-25 minutes max, I could have done that... I'm insured to use the company van on the company insurance... would the manager hand over the keys?

no fking chance irked

If I had my car with me I would have used that...

Stage one job interview done. Six miles run (personal best of 1hr 45secs). Marathon number and timing tag arrived in the post today. No work tomorrow so I'll mostly toss it off whilst doing a bit of housework.

'Bout it really.

That is the weirdest boutique of specialities for one business I've ever encountered. A consumer credit reporting agency that sells anti-fouling paint?

What's all that about?

Panorama right now, on Scotland.

Background music by This Mortal Coil.

Gorgeous, even against industrial wastelands and alcoholics.

Watched the MotoGP, so good to see VR back on top. Made me very happy.
Just finished watching highlights of this.

Great stuff.

Rossi broke Marquez.

I went to this in 2008 and '10 as part of my Italian holidays, driving my own cars over there.

Which is also why I signed up to PH,because on the way back to Calais a bunch of British TVRs past me

and I asked on here where they'd been.
