She needs something dirt cheap, small and bullet proof mechanically.

Bullet proof mechanically for £500 is unlikely. Best looking Nissan/Toyota there. I'd look for a Fiesta, knowing that if something does go wrong there'll be a plethora of second hand spares around. That's what we did a few years ago to tide us over when required. Check coolant pumps.

It's known as the Geliehenen Porsche.
hehe

I'm still not sure they're quicker than hire cars or white vans... or hired white vans.

Said about a scooter, she doesn't even like riding push bikes...

Clio
Micra
Saxo
106
Fiesta
Corsa

Something that just needs regular servicing and isn't going to break every other day would be nice...

Are there ultra quick Geliehenen versions of Mercedes, Audis and BMWs as well? Or is it just Porsche?

Have you considered a Polo?
Mrs had one for 5 years , robust little thing just serviced every year that's all.
Only got rid because a van wanged her passenger side door in, and she felt no more love for it.

Good shout Lobsta... I'll see what's available Polo wise in her budget.

Alternatively, there are some surprisingly cheap A class Mercs on ebay.

Another night of 24. It's getting silly now.

It's late and I'm about to watch the final episode of series 3 and my feckin demand box thingy decides it's not going to ply ball. I think my sky box is trying to tell me I'm a sad fker.

Morning all.

Managed to pull a muscle at the back of my knee yesterday during my training run - not best pleased but confident it will clear up before Sunday's race.

Morning all.

Second day in a row my colleague has not shown up, not called in or anything and left a pretty monumental clusterfk in progress for the rest of the month, with irate customers calling up hourly.

He'd better be dead in a ditch somewhere, cos if he isn't, he soon fking will be! C**t.

Sorry, I had the big chiefs visit here from the UK yesterday. yes

My life's about to get a lot more busy, I've been told asked to set up another new company and run it along side the one I already do, with a whole new range of products. My arse won't touch the ground. weeping

Afternoon all.

More paperwork has been shoved my way today, I must be getting on for half a medium-sized tree's worth on my desk so far, with more to come.

Deep joy.
