Well done, TTer Extraordinaire.

Do I vaguely recall it was for charity? Assuming I'm correct, can you refer me back to the link?

Last year we had a mini Christmas tree in a pot to adorn the drive. Just into the New Year I removed the fairy lights and planted it.

I'm optimistic.

But then, I'm an optimistic kind of chap.

I think I'll book the first week of November off next... gives me a whole week to prep the Land Rover for it's MOT that Friday (7th)

Just need to bleed the brakes is all. Will book a week in case as is usual with old cars, an easy job can escalate quickly eek

Yes, loads. Select one at random, cut away the golf club and it becomes the TT Post Marathon Victory Dance Award.

No, wasn't for charity. If I do another it will be. The way I feel right now I don't want to do another. I suffered with heat exhaustion at the end and felt lousy all afternoon.

Just demolished an Indian takeaway and bottle of Veuve with the Wife (who also competed) and know I'll sleep well tonight!

The top looks fine, just cut the bottom off in December.

Thanks all. Awaiting my 'chip' time, which is the time from when I crossed the start line to when I crossed the finish. I'm sure it's under 2.5hrs. I crossed the line at 2:48:03 but this took into account getting to the start line, which with thousands of people took a while.

Evening strangers.

Nice one Fun Bus. Good luck with the time.

Spent the weekend doing motor related stuff. Was bloody great. Fair few (thousand!) MX5s today

X2 again!

And I've picked the wheels, interior, colour, and supercharger, of my second one, still undecided on door mirrors though.

You know you can MOT it up to 4 weeks before it's due right?

The chip times are in. Remember, this is the time from when I actually crossed the start line to crossing the finishing line. My time was:

02:29:26

The winner of the half-marathon did it in 01:04:21 - incredible.

And. For balance, the person who took the longest was a woman with MS who started a week ago. An admirable effort. On the actual day though, last through the line was 03:03:08.

Here ends the Fun Bus review of the Nottingham Robin Hood Half Marathon 2014.

Well done FB.

I deleted my dumb question earlier when I found the answer with some cunning detective work.
