Compared to driving from Newbury to Norbiton in the rush hour, driving around Barry is quite restful. So, imagine my surprise this morning, having spent the night at my lad's in Porth, to find there are nutters here as well. You know the sort, he just had to go for the gap. Didn't matter where it was, if there was a gap, he went for it. Dual carriageway south to the M4 and he's in both lanes, he's going up the inside, he's braking hard, he's accelerating as hard as a boggo Passat will allow. Ten miles after I first noticed him, as we stop for the lights at the roundabout for the motorway, he's two cars in front. Well done, bloke. Good effort. You've jangled the nerves of fifty other drivers and gained thirty feet of someone else's tarmac.

Give it a rest mate will ya, ffs?

Well, you come to expect London bound nutters in the rush hour. But South Glamorgan? There's only about three hundred cars in the whole area. And most of the drivers round here are from the school of, "After you, Cecil," "No, after you, Claude."

There's lovely.

That doesn't leave very many English words to use. Basically just grunts.
