Quick question: Have you taken your tax disk out of your car?!

I was out of the country earlier this month when it became legal to not display your disk and didn't give it a second thought until this morning. I was curious to see how many people had taken their tax disc off the windscreen and I noticed just two vehicles, an i10 and a Scenic. Any other cars I noticed still had their tax discs, including "64" plates.

Both mine have still got discs in.. although that said the one in Clio is expired as I simply never got round to putting the new one in before it became pointless to do so.

I'd keep the Clio's one in.

Drive around with an expired tax disc just 'cause you can until the novelty wears off.

Both cars had tax discs and holders removed the night before the new legislation came in.

I removed my tax disc that night too... Dads car now shows a copy of it's first tax disc from 1960

ION: These are actually quite a lot of fun to drive

Non trivial.

I was mere yards away from a child being hit by a car in Croydon this afternoon.

Can't have been too badly hurt as he dragged himself to the pavement.

It's possible my lorry obscured his view and he didn't look properly and got walloped.

Well, I would but I'm in full uniform and I'm finding the heavy braiding on the sleeves is restricting my keyboard flourishes.

I've been in Drs surgeries since 7.20am. I've been home an hour. Put my PJs on to enjoy a relaxing evening...fk it. It's nearly the weekend. I'm going out biggrin

Both mine have a lovely empty space where the tax disk used be.
Caused by one rush of st to the brain caused by my seeing an out of date disk in the i40 and briefly stting myself before I remembered it was taxed but they didnt give me a disk (as it started on the 1st of oct) I took it out to stop any repetition of the panic lol
