Morning all. Today, my travels have taken me to Frimley in Surrey. Just got here and the site aren't ready to take what I'm delivering. So now I'm waiting.

One disastrous Friday night drive home from work recently - when I tried just about everything to avoid multifarious hold ups - I stopped for a drink and a bit of a rest in a pub in Frimley. Haven't been there for years.

One of the major suppliers of TKP, TKL, TKS and TKT has a manufacturing plant in Frimley.

The landlord of the pub I was in has a deal going.

Just sparked up one of our Chevy Big Block V8's in the workshop. As it's on straight-thru pipes, have managed to set off 7 car alarms. wobble

Bits of roof have also fallen down. The supercharger is still sitting in it's box ready to be fitted. That's nice.

Oh for fks sake.

Turning the ignition on or off on this truck changes the tacho mode. I've restarted a thirty minute break having inadvertently reset another about 12 minutes in.

Looks like a nice day to get a haircut.
I was right. Plenty of parking, no queue and the scenic route there and back again.

My internet has been off for 15 hours. They're sending a man out. He'll be here on Thursday. Must be coming a long way.

And the time travelling fridge freezer isn't even here yet. Grr.

Very unlike this seaside town ,full of holiday makers and traffic.

These people really need to read traffic signs.

Mine does that too.

It baffled me when it first happened but now I make sure I don't turn on and off during breaks and brakes.

Never had it before! The DAF I was using last week didn't do it, but the Renault I was in today did.

Tomorrow, I'm back in London. My start time from Nottingham? 3:30am, I'll be setting an alarm for 2:30am. Why the hell I said yes I do not know, really I don't. Planning to be in my bed at 7 tonight so keep the noise down, please.

A Golf owner in GG is asking how get a Golf through an MoT retest with a just-fail on emissions. Someone said to fit a new air filter and then get the cats nice and hot before the retest with an Italian tune up. He asked what an Italian tune up is. Cue lots of eye rolling. I felt quite sorry for him.

That's a heck of a long way to go for lunch.
I am already in Cornwall ( a slightly different bit it must be said)

The review is in on Fifteen and it is good.

The wife had smoked mackerel to start, I had mozzarella with mixed beets, both were lovely.
Mains, the OH had the salt crusted Hake with crushed potatoes, I had a gnocchi with veg and more mozzarella, the goglet had penne bolognese.
The hake was beautiful, the gnocchi amd sauce were really good but the star for me was my daughters bolognese, easily the best I have ever had.

The deserts, we both had the raspberry and almond cake with clotted cream, goglet had chocolate brownie.

Even the drinks were good, I had an alcohol free cocktail (driving frown), the OH had a prosecco then later I had a homemade lemonade and the OH had a ginger presse.

I must admit Gog, I'm not a fan of that Oliver chap at all but I've just looked at the menus and they look bloody good. Very reasonable on the pocket too.

This is the biggest hotel room I've ever been in. The bed is three pillows wide and the room is so big that the bed looks small.

It's all wood panelled too. Probably mega haunted!

It's our anniversary today.
I am taking the OH to Jamie Olivers place in Cornwall for lunch, really looking forward to it.
I will report back later with a review.
It was ours last Saturday.
Just been to his place in Harrogate, he wasn't there.
It wasn't brilliant.

That's what fked me up this morning. It seems to have erased my 45 minute break.
