Slopes is back.

Had a good day today.

Traffic light (ish) M3 an exception, due to half term.

Spotted a Ford RS200 which looked lovely and made a delivery to a family who are very big in

McLaren F1 stuff.

Begins with an L........( no F1s on site)

I just sent a hand written and signed letter to the DVLA requesting the 6 months of tax I had on the scrapped Audi back... because I didn't have a disc (as it coincided with the disc deletion I never received a disc to return) they need details.

I gave the dates and sent copies of the cert of destruction and V11 which was used to purchase the VED

Chances of ever seeing that £115 again... slim rolleyes

ION: Good evening, 10 days till the Land Rover MOT is due. Unusually for me, I'm not worried.
Which is a surprise because in my 7 year motoring career (so far) I have never had a car pass an MOT biggrin

I'd suggest a considerably better Xmas tip for your MoT man.

6 Cars
4 never even made it to their MOT due date,
1 was sold before it was due,,
The Fiesta failed on chronic corrosion

That leaves the Land Rover, which should pass easily smile... unless I've missed something when I serviced it last Saturday. Pass or fail doesn't matter, I'm going to restore it anyway biggrin

Evenings TTers enjoyed a freshly baked sausage roll earlier, now looking forward to gammon steak and cauliflower cheese with French beans ,onion mashed potato and maybe peas for evening meal.

Which is nice.

cycling to work this morning, on an A-road using a cycling lane that's part of a footpath. Two women walking along both with prams. One is in my cycle lane, the other on the pavemet/footpat. As I cycle past her on her right I slow down and say 'this is a cycle lane you know' and pedal on. I see her out the corner of my eye flail her arms in the air and yell in shock. I've got in-ear headphones with music on and hear her through it.

Had me laughing all the way to work.

Dinner tonight is marinaded chicken thighs, fresh ravioli stuffed with chicken, mozzarella and smoked pancetta, with carbonara sauce and tenderstems and baby green beans lick

I mentioned to Mrs Champers that Villa were on the telly later and she said " I thought they might be, you didn't bh about them all weekend, which was nice" hehe

A bloke at work shreds his old tax discs ....WTF ?

Tax discs contain so much sensitive data that we used to display them to the world for 6 or 12 months.

I laughed A LOT and quoted tin foil hat

There is one tiny bit of welding, but this... erm... patina... is not in an MOT sensitive area (not structural)
