I'd obviously missed that. Congrats smile

Was trying to get someone up to speed with Arrow for the start of S3 tonight, but as we're only on ep12 of S1 it's not going to happen...

Need to do something about the headaches, although as I said it's been good for months now. I'm getting bad kidney/ abdomen pain too, and finally got referred to the hospital for scans etc this week. That's been going on for about a year, probably more. Along with my fubared thumb I'm in great shape!! hehe

My ex stalks me on here, so there wasn't a lot about it wink but thank you biggrin

Yes you do, a lot of headaches aren't good, especially when it's not down to dehydration - could you be over hydrated?

I've just been referred to Gyny for similar, been in bed this week with it (& the dreaded D!) - good luck!

A couple of hours a night = 3 episodes without getting bored; you can do it smile problem is when it's a 'live' show you then want the rest of the new season immediately too!

We watched all of Smallville in a month smile

J had never seen Dexter. We played catch up & then had to wait for in as it aired. The last season we saved it all for the weekend before the finale (& then were very disappointed!) frown

Just had a guilt pang. I've done a bit of running around this morning and popped into a Costa to grab a cup of their addictive, but over priced slurp. While the girl was banging about doing her thing I dropped all my change into the Poppy Appeal tin on the counter and grabbed this year's Poppy. I didn't pin it on, but put it in my shirt pocket to sort out later.

Paper cup in hand, I strolled around the corner to head back to my car and spied a proud old boy who was greeting everyone who walked past with a beaming smile on his face. Of course, he was selling Poppies too. I wasn't sure whether to feel bad about not buying one of his or not displaying the one I'd just picked up.
Sometimes, it's difficult being me.

Up at 4:15 at The Towers, picked step daughter #2 at five, dropped her at Heathrow at six, signed in at work in Barry at 8:45.

:hero:

In an effort to stay awake, however, I am now going to walk across the road and wade into the sea. Unless the tide's out, in which case I'll come back and have a stronger than usual cup of coffee.

It is, and you had been accepted.

You've also been teased and you didn't react well to it, seems you can give it out but aren't very good at taking it frown

You have to be able to give & take here, we soon weed out those that don't really fit; they show themselves up (aka trip over land mines wink )

No one is picking on you, well not until you tried to attack me, that's just not cricket!

Picking on you? Picking on you?

If you study The Lexicon Of Council Baby's Utterances, you will find that was among the warmest welcomes he has ever offered.

Look back through his stuff. Have a good old poke about among his colourful exchanges. Get to know him. And then, in a few months, when you return from therapy, we can resume on an altogether firmer footing.

Afternoon all. Who let the tetchiness out the box then?

TT summary; Home of the bald by genetics and the bald by intent and those with the squits the sts and them with the picked on hissy fits. And Slopes, welcome back Slopes. It's good to read about you and what you're up to. And DickyC, is life in Ba-reee as lovely as it sounds. I once had a project manager who lived in the supposedly posh part of Cardiff ( Two word bit, can't remember what it was). He got right narkey when I used to say that it bordered Splot. Splot, now that's a great name for a place.

I want to do Movember again this yar, but am loath to shave my beard off... Plus the last couple of years people seem to have tired of it, and donating in general.

ION - Last night I had an invite to a party on Saturday that I know will be great... I'm working a 12 hour nightshift. Have tried all possible avenues to get cover and have one person still to hear back from. If he can't then I shall not go the ball. And will sulk like a child.

dmn - Life here is okay, thanks. No idea how long my services wil be required. I spotted Splott on a map and mean to go and have a look. I'm going the other way this evening in search of another pub in the sticks. I've already forgotten what it's called but I have a route planned and will report back in due course.

I'd spotted Splott. We should record that for posterity.
