Eh? You've got a Land Rover to get through an MoT and you reckon you've nothing to do?
It's been serviced, checked over and had the brakes bled over the last couple of weekends. It should pass... anything that I've missed will probably require a certain amount of mechano style work to rectify
Besides it's a Series 3... what's the worst that could happen

I've done some stuff and not not some other stuff.
I saw a few minutes of Storage hunters UK or whatever it's called.
They trawled Scumsville UK for the "participants".
Worst telly EVER....ever...EVER.
Got The US version on now.
Brandon and Lori just paid $27,500 for a Countach..........kitcar....I.E a Pontiac fiero.....LOL

Deep down, you know you'll feel better about it - and about yourself - if you clean it and re-Waxoyl it.
Yes, I'd be even happier if I could afford to have it dipped and galvanised. I think it's going to be a case of having the repairs and alterations done, then clean off (thinking of burning off in some of the hard to reach bits with a blowtorch), couple of layers of marine paint and then waxoyl/dinitrol the outside. Fit anything that needs bolting through the chassis box sections and then fill inside with waxoyl too. Leafspring said:

To be fair, I thought my old S3 was a cracking little machine - an 88" that the previous owner fitted with a Nissan D23 diesel from a Serena. Not exactly quick but much better on fuel than the 2.25 petrol it replaced.

Honestly, It'll be fine, we've put Dads Series 2 through 12 years worth of MOT's (last one was July ) with no failures and the two models aren't that dissimilar
