It's going to get messy…..
Very I would think.I'm in my dinner suit having a smoke and a glass of wine whilst Mrs Champers and princess Senior are getting ready for the school ball/prom, car's due at six, reckon they'll be ready about quarter-past
So today I learned(learnt?) that forgetting about bills isn't a good idea. I just got a court summons for unpaid council tax! Whoops.
I won't have to actually go to court, I'll just cough up the money on Monday but still it made me think twice about being so casual about things like that.

I've just taken an unexpected phone call... It would appear my middle son has been invited to some Premier football, his most favourite, loves, runs an FB fan group, obsessed with, club and their executive box to watch them play.
Do you think I should mention it to him? I mean, it's just football.

Phew, not just me then! I won't have to actually go to court, I'll just cough up the money on Monday but still it made me think twice about being so casual about things like that.

First post in one of these threads. Better make it a good 'un.
There's a banana on my desk which simply won't ripen. It's three conjoined siblings have long since mellowed and have in turn been consumed but the single solitary remaining bean is still uniform green.
Sounds like trouble that one. There's a banana on my desk which simply won't ripen. It's three conjoined siblings have long since mellowed and have in turn been consumed but the single solitary remaining bean is still uniform green.
I'm wondering if I should start a thread elsewhere because I'm not sure the ongoing saga of the green banana is trivial anymore.
