I have to admit that I have never in my 37 years a full licenced driver driven a LHD car.

In 1993 I was lucky enough to drive an aged V8 Aston in the US. It had the same ZF five speed gearbox as the right hand drive cars I had driven. I didn't like the gear change in the right hand drive cars, I found it awkward and slow and was expecting not to like it in the left hand drive car. Suddenly, it all made sense. Of course! The gear change was designed for left hand drive. Sweet as anything it was. In fact the only trouble I had with the car was the same as I always have in left hand drive cars and that is glancing into space to the left of the car looking for the mirror.

So far, the washing machine door latch broke, the microwave died and now the two left side burners on the cooker won't ignite from the sparky thingies. All are less than a year old.
All under warranty then, Shirley?
yes hence the repair man but no complaints about forth coming bill... cause there won't be one smile

ION: My new Berghaus walking boots have arrived... they're excellent, perfect fit and nice and comfy.

IOON: a replacement door for my Audi was £42... will have to transfer all the glass, mirror and door furniture across though AND re-spray it (cause it's resale silver and my Audi is metallic red rolleyes )

EMON: My shiny new updated license is here... I look younger in the photo than I feel frown

Nonsense. It's an acquired taste.

You have to work at it.

Busy week... I'm sure it'll settle back down to the usual boring drudgery soon enough.
Just in time for my week off in September probably.

Had salmon, avocado & mozzarella, followed by a cream tea... Had a kip. Watching X Games Skate Vert.

Think I'll train a bit, push ups, and have a post training snack of steak & 4 eggs.

Then work. And chicken and couscous.

Chunky - sorry, chap! I forgot myself in the Ignis thread and told your sycophants that if the referendum goes the wrong way you stand to lose your seat in the House of Lords.

And after all we said about discretion.

Apologies.
