Yep, probably about 20 - 30 years ago now but that's where my wife grew up, living in the flat above it. I went in there for a few pints a couple of years ago, not the nicest of pubs but also not the worst.

The only bit that vaguely interested me was the sea world type performing creature. Other than that hugely disappointed. Gremlins was more believable than this tripe fourth instalment.

The first time I went to Newbury was to work for Plenty in 1990 - then loads of stuff happened - and then Mrs-C-to-be gave me my own key in '92 or '93. What a good feeling that was.
