Afternoon all
trying (and failing) to get some enthusiasm together for my trip down south. Really need to set off though otherwise I will hit the m25 at 5pm which is never a good idea.

Thank you Dicky

Pleasure. A few revisits by sponsors would do it, I reckon.

The criticism of sponsored charitable events - namely "they might have had a walk/swim/climb/slim anyway" cannot be levelled at you, ali. Most people wouldn't have done what you did.

I'm very well PP and so am I, thanks for asking.

I brought my knives into work this morning so the old man can sharpen them for me. Brief trivia - At 18 my Dad was a butcher for Sainsbury's in London. My mum (also 18) worked as a checkout girl in the same store. Dad was the shop clown always acting up and mum was the beautiful, hard to get girl all the lads wanted to date. After work one evening he offered her a lift home on his motorbike...and the rest they say is history.

When he breaks out the steel the stories follow.

40 years old.
I have some of those ,a 32 year old and a 18 year old and a 6 year old.

Living the steel.

Likewise!

Apart from work and the fact that my lunches aren't gourmet...

You're saying that I'm a complex character, aren't you.
Absolutely. As a car type metaphor; you're the most complex bend on the ring, driven in a rear steer car on an icy track with a side wind, whilst wearing a blindfold, mittens and fitted with a too tight codpiece. That's you that is smile
