Still lurging. Annoyed at stereotypes and pillocks who tar everybody with the same brush. Lots of bugs about at the moment and many of the female staff have them. All have had at least one day off and are sitting at their desks snivelling audibly, mentioning that they are ill and that we should be glad that anything is getting done at all. Actual conversation extract from one: "If I was a bloke this chair would still be empty today!"
Interesting. Somebody spied taking a couple of ibuprofen tablets this morning. They asked me why. It's because my body hurts so much that The Whiff had to help me out of bed this morning (although it is a bit better now that I'm mobile). They said "Oh, I didn't realise you were ill too."
No. You didn't. Because I just get on with it. (While ranting about it on t'interweb, but we won't tell them about that.)
Having said that, I have also seen quite a few of the blokes doing their best to maintain the stereotype.
